Chapman Crafted Beer is located in Old Towne in Orange, California. It’s a family-owned brewery that’s, in their own words, “community focused.” This includes brewing beers honoring the local university’s homecoming and the city’s festival.
Chapman Crafted’s head brewer, Brian Thorson, previously brewed for both Trumer Brewery and Drake’s Brewing Company and has been turning out great beers since day one. From Slow Riser, a Red Ale brewed with local coffee and served on nitro, to Hello Again, an incredibly clean and bright Helles. Chapman Crafted has an excellent range in styles, which makes this brewery an excellent place to hang out with friends enjoying a few beers.
Hazy Like Sunday Morning is a Hazy IPA (no surprise!) hopped with Meridian, Citra and Simcoe hops. At 7.2% ABV and 20 IBUs, this beer is a fruit bomb. As soon as you crack open the can, the berry fruit aromas pour out.
This beer, while keeping with the hazy profile, still delivers just enough hop bitterness. This hop combination just plain works. Both the aroma and flavor combined with a dry finish make this a beer that can be enjoyed by both the hop and hazy side of the bar.
