At Pitchfork Music Festival this past weekend, each of the performing rappers were preceded by a short, 5-minute DJ set. This week’s playlist is inspired by this new wave of rap music, in which hip-hop and rap artists incorporate dance beats and themes of electronic music into their work. Featuring hits from Kid Cudi’s side project WZRD, in addition to Kendrick Lamar and Schoolboy Q, this playlist features both veteran and up-and-coming rappers touring this summer.
