Pat yourself on the back. You’ve survived most of GABF week and you’re still alive. That’s no small feat. By Saturday I’m usually all for the gradual transition from beer toward whiskey so New Belgium’s Whiskey Sour Barrel Hour is my top recommendation for Saturday’s extracurricular GABF week events.

The event features New Belgium’s killer lineup of Sour Barrel Aged beers paired with the whiskey who’s barrels they were aged in. Add in the fact that Ophelia’s will be providing the paired food and you’ve got the perfect way to tie one on for a little hair of the dog.
